My ecommerce store is still running on OpenCart 2.0.1.1 and the platform is now holding us back. I want the entire site migrated to the latest stable OpenCart release so we benefit from stronger security and faster performance without changing the overall look and feel. Only light design tweaks are needed—think fresher typography, tidier spacing and a modern banner layout—while keeping the familiar structure our customers know.

Key objectives
• Preserve every product, customer record, order history, SEO-friendly URL and existing extension that is still compatible, migrating them safely to the new database schema.
• Optimise the new build for speed (caching, image compression, database cleanup) and lock down security with best-practice server and OpenCart hardening.
• Refine the checkout flow and shipping logic: fewer steps, clear error handling, automatic postcode validation and more transparent carriage options.
• Thorough cross-browser and mobile testing before go-live, followed by a smooth switchover that ensures zero downtime for customers.

Deliverables
1. Development copy of the upgraded site on a staging server.
2. Full data migration scripts and documentation.
3. Updated theme files with the agreed minor design changes.
4. Configured checkout and shipping enhancements.
5. Post-deployment support window to catch any edge-case issues.

Acceptance criteria: the new site must load noticeably faster than the current build (Core Web Vitals in the green), pass an external vulnerability scan, and complete a full test purchase—including shipping calculation—without error.

I can provide SSH, cPanel and current admin access as soon as we kick off.
