Custom C++ MySQL Filter Tool

I have a very large MySQL database and need a high-performance C++ program that lets me filter and clean records on demand. The software has to let me combine every available filter parameter—date range, user activity and category—so I can slice the data any way I choose and then carry out the following cleaning steps in one run:

• remove duplicates
• correct invalid or inconsistent entries
• normalize fields to a consistent format

Because the data volume is heavy, speed and memory efficiency matter as much as accuracy. I expect the code to be modular so I can tweak or add new filters later without rewriting the whole project.

Please deliver:
• well-documented C++ source that compiles on Linux
• connection layer for MySQL (prepared statements preferred)
• a simple CLI or config file where I can define the filter rules and toggle each cleaning task
• build/run instructions and a short README explaining how to extend the filter logic
