I’m ready to turn my idea for a first-person, open-world role-play game into a working prototype and, ultimately, a full release. The exact setting is still open—my initial note was simply “Role play”—so I’m looking forward to collaborating on whether we lean into classic fantasy, a gritty modern world, or something entirely new. What matters most is delivering an expansive environment where player choice drives the story and gameplay.
Here’s how I picture the initial scope:
• Core prototype that lets a player create a character, explore a seamless open map, and interact with at least one quest line.
• Basic combat and inventory systems fully functional in first-person view.
• A modular architecture (Unity or Unreal Engine is fine) that we can expand with additional regions, quests, and NPCs.
• Clear, well-commented code plus short documentation so any future team member can plug in new content without breaking existing systems.
If you’ve shipped open-world or large-scale RPG features before, I’d love to see examples. Let me know which engine, toolchain, and workflow you recommend, how you’d break down milestones, and any questions you have about the creative direction. Together we’ll define the setting, polish the core loop, and set a solid foundation for a standout first-person RPG.
