Ongoing Mechanical CAD Modeling Partnership

I need someone who can step in whenever a new mechanical part is added to our pipeline and quickly turn sketches, STEP imports, or rough assemblies into clean, parametric CAD models. All work centers on medium-detail components—think accurate mates, proper clearances, and manufacturing-ready geometry, but without ultra-fine surface finishes or ornamental detailing.

Most of the existing library sits in Inventor, NX, and SolidWorks, with a few legacy ProE files that still need occasional edits, so fluency in at least one of those platforms is essential and cross-platform transfer skills are a plus. Native files, neutral formats (STEP/IGES), and 2D manufacturing drawings should be handed over each time.

This is a long-term arrangement: parts arrive irregularly, sometimes a single bracket, other times a small sub-assembly. Quote me a sensible per-part or hourly rate that reflects the ongoing nature of the work, and tell me how fast you can normally turn around a medium-detail part. Accuracy, fully constrained sketches, and tidy feature trees will be the key acceptance criteria for every deliverable.
