On-Site QS for Dublin Fit-Out

I’m mobilising a commercial fit-out in Dublin that covers the full package—mechanical, electrical and all finishes—and I need an experienced quantity surveyor on the ground during the construction phase. Your remit is threefold: keep tight control of project costs, track and report progress against programme, and handle day-to-day contract administration with the main contractor and specialist trades.

Our detailed designs are still in development, so I’ll rely on you to interrogate evolving drawings, flag cost risks early and feed real-time budget data back into the design process. Expect regular site walks, valuation meetings and liaison with both my project manager and the architect to make sure every change is captured before it hits site.

Key deliverables I’m looking for:
• Live cost plan with fortnightly updates and variance commentary
• Monthly progress/valuation reports suitable for lender sign-off
• Timely issue of payment certificates, change orders and contractual notices

Familiarity with standard Irish building contracts, strong Excel or CostX skills, and the ability to explain numbers in plain English will be essential. If you know the Dublin subcontractor market and can start quickly, let’s talk.
