Our production platform is running well, but every now and then a functional bug slips through. When that happens I reach out by email and need a senior engineer who can jump straight in, diagnose the root cause, and ship a fix without disrupting business hours.
Tech stack you’ll be touching:
• Python / Django
• Celery for background jobs
• Redis for caching and as the Celery broker
• Daphne with Django Channels powering WebSockets
Because most of the hiccups we’ve seen are classic functional bugs rather than performance or integration issues, I value someone who can trace application logic fast and write clear, maintainable patches. We don’t have a fancy tracker—issues are reported manually by the team—so concise communication around what you changed and why is essential.
The engagement is long-term and light-touch: a few hours here and there, billed against a fixed monthly retainer. Please include your monthly rate, your years of experience with Django, and typical response times.
