Odoo 20 Saudi ZATCA Setup

I’m rolling out Odoo 20 Community for our Saudi operation and want the environment configured and customised so it is fully compliant with ZATCA e-invoicing while streamlining day-to-day work in Accounting, HR & Payroll, and Inventory Management.

Here is the scope in plain terms.

1. Accounting
• Activate and fine-tune Arabic/English chart of accounts, VAT settings, and the new Phase-2 ZATCA e-invoice requirements.
• Design the tax invoices, debit/credit notes, and XML payload so they pass the Fatoora portal tests and can be signed automatically.
• Configure multi-currency, bank reconciliation, and analytic tags exactly the way Saudi auditors expect.

2. HR & Payroll
• Set up employee records, salary structures, GOSI, vacation accruals, and end-of-service calculations.
• Build custom payroll rules that reflect our allowances and deductions.
• Make sure pay-slips feed straight into accounting with the correct cost centres.

3. Inventory Management
• Map our warehouses, stock locations, and barcode labels.
• Automate re-ordering based on min/max and integrate with Sales and Invoicing for real-time stock availability.
• Enable serial/lot tracking for compliance with our ISO process.

Across all modules I need both configuration and code-level customisation. That means creating custom fields, smart buttons, and Studio-style views as well as writing Python, XML, or JavaScript where the gui alone won’t cut it. Quality assurance must include unit tests or at least clear acceptance scripts so I can reproduce the results on staging before we push to production.

Deliverables
• A ready-to-run Odoo 20 Community database with the above items working.
• Source code for all custom modules in a private Git repo plus brief documentation.
• A hand-over session (video call) showing the key setups and how to maintain them.
