Odoo 18 Python Customization Support

My local Windows-based Odoo 18 sandbox ran perfectly until a contractor pushed an “ops security hardening” change set. Since then:

• Login succeeds only intermittently
• The screen often turns blank, key menus disappear, and the session becomes unstable (Blank screen, Missing menus, Unstable session)

The culprit likely sits in the custom add-on layer or the recent auth/session code the contractor touched during hardening. I do NOT want a fresh install, random module deletions, or a wholesale rewrite. What I need is a precise repair that restores the original, stable behaviour while preserving the security improvements that actually matter.

Scope of work
– Inspect the custom add-on, any permission tweaks, configuration edits, or related firewall rules introduced during the hardening pass.
– Pinpoint and correct only the fragments that broke the login flow and backend UI.
– Leave the rest of the environment untouched so future updates remain clean.

Acceptance criteria
1. I can log in without errors.
2. No blank screens; all standard menus render and stay visible.
3. The session remains stable during normal navigation.

I’ll verify by walking through the backend myself. If any of the above fails, the fix is considered incomplete. A solid, minimal patch may lead to a follow-up project once this sandbox is healthy again.
