NX Automotive Bumper Modeling

I’m kicking off an exterior-trim program and need a production-ready bumper fascia modeled directly in Siemens NX. The concept surface is already frozen; what I’m missing is the detailed plastic design work—ribs, bosses, draft, mounting clips, attachment brackets, and all the little tweaks that make the part moldable and assembly-friendly. Your background in plastic product design will be critical, because this piece has to pass OEM validation without extra rework.

Turnaround is immediate. To speed the design reviews I prefer someone local who can spend at least part of the week in our office; being able to sit down together and check sections against the body-in-white saves us days. If you are nearby and comfortable jumping on site, let me know when you can start. Remote talent with strong NX bumper experience is also welcome if the fit is right and you can stay responsive during business hours.

Deliverables
• Fully parametric Siemens NX part and assembly files for the front and rear bumper fascia (including any attached brackets if applicable)
• Draft analysis and wall-thickness validation in the model
• Parametric and 2D drawings with basic GD&T for tooling kick-off
• Brief design note summarizing decisions, material assumptions, and open points

Acceptance criteria: the model must open error-free in NX, respect plastic design best practices, fit the provided hard points, and be ready for tooling release after a single design review.
