Non-Fiction Book Proofreading and copy editing

My manuscript is finished and has never been through an editorial pass, so what I need now is a careful proofread that corrects spelling, punctuation, grammar, and basic consistency errors without reshaping the content itself.

The book is non-fiction and sits at its “completed but not edited” stage, so there are no developmental changes required—just a sharp pair of eyes to polish what is already on the page. I work in Microsoft Word and would like the edit returned in two files: one with Track Changes showing every correction and a second, clean copy ready for layout.

I’ll provide the full draft, style preferences (Chicago Manual of Style with U.K. spelling), and a short glossary of key terms. Turnaround time is flexible within reason, but I’d like an estimated schedule before we begin so I can plan the launch timeline.
