## Project Title
Next.js + Prisma developer for an existing SaaS web app — comfortable working alongside AI coding tools
## Overview
I'm looking for a developer to join an existing, working SaaS web application built with Next.js. The codebase is already in production for one client and is being extended to onboard additional clients on the same platform. Full project details, repo access, and specific requirements will be shared directly with whoever is selected — this post is intentionally kept general.
This is likely to be an ongoing working relationship, not a single one-off task, if it's a good fit on both sides.
## Tech Stack
- Next.js (App Router) + TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS + shadcn/ui
- Prisma ORM + PostgreSQL (Neon)
- Vercel (deployment/CI-CD)
- Git/GitHub
## What I'm Looking For
**Skills**
- Solid, provable experience with Next.js App Router and TypeScript in a real production codebase (not just tutorials) — please share a repo, deployed app, or portfolio piece.
- Comfortable with Prisma and Postgres, including writing/running migrations.
- Experience with Vercel deployment: environment variables, custom domains, debugging failed builds.
- Can implement authentication/session handling from scratch when needed, not just by wiring up a library.
**AI-assisted / "vibe coding" experience**
- I use AI coding tools (like Claude Code) heavily in my own workflow, and want a developer who is comfortable doing the same — reviewing and correcting AI-generated code, using AI tools to move faster without losing track of what the code actually does, and being honest about the difference between "the AI says it works" and "I verified it works." Tell me specifically how you currently use AI tools in your development process.
**Attitude / working style**
- Reliable communicator — flags blockers and asks clarifying questions rather than guessing silently on ambiguous requirements.
- Comfortable with a project that evolves as we go, rather than a fully fixed spec upfront.
- Security-conscious with credentials and environment variables — never asks for or needs a client's personal account passwords; works through proper collaborator/access invites.
- Takes ownership: tests their own work before handing it back rather than treating "it builds" as "it's done."
## How to Apply
Please include:
1. A link to a relevant project (deployed app or public repo) that best shows your Next.js/TypeScript/Prisma work.
2. A short note on how you use AI coding tools in your own workflow today.
3. Your availability (hours/week) and whether you're looking for ongoing work or prefer fixed short engagements.
4. **Your rate** — hourly or a proposed structure — and how you'd want the first small task scoped/paid to establish trust before a larger engagement.
Full technical scope, repo access, and project specifics will be shared once we've had a short conversation and agreed on fit and rate.
