Sales Data Forecasting Analysis

I need a data-savvy partner to dive into our historical sales data and turn it into an accurate, usable forecasting model. The raw files are already cleaned and stored in CSV format; what I lack is the analytical muscle to translate those numbers into forward-looking insight.

The core objective is simple: improve our sales forecasting accuracy so we can plan inventory and staffing with greater confidence. I’m open to whichever toolset you’re most comfortable with—Python (pandas, scikit-learn, Prophet), R, or even advanced Excel/Power Query—so long as the end result meets these acceptance criteria:

• A well-documented forecasting model that can be refreshed with new monthly data
• A concise report explaining your methodology, key assumptions, and performance metrics (MAPE, RMSE, or similar)
• A visual dashboard or set of charts that non-technical stakeholders can interpret at a glance
