# JSES Sutraatman Software Portal — Development Requirements

Build a dedicated Software page on the existing JSES WordPress website for Sutraatman, an open-source oneM2M Common Service Layer and Management Console.

## 1. Software information page
- Explain the software's purpose, capabilities, supported protocols, console modules, prerequisites and installation process.
- Display the current version, release notes, documentation, source-code repository and applicable open-source licence.
- Clearly state the terms of the initial six-month free hosted-download offer.
- Provide a prominent Download Software button.

## 2. Registration and download
- Require full name and email address.
- Allow organization and professional role as optional fields.
- Verify email ownership before activating the download.
- Send the user a unique, expiring download link by email.
- Record registration date, verified status, software version and actual download events.
- Prevent duplicate registrations, automated abuse and unauthorized access to download files.
- Do not automatically subscribe download registrants to promotional emails.

## 3. Marketing database
- Maintain a centralized database of registered users.
- Record explicit marketing consent, timestamp, consent source and subscription status.
- Provide a separate, optional marketing consent checkbox that is unchecked by default.
- Integrate with an email marketing platform or CRM.
- Synchronize user tags and relevant activity, including registration, verification, downloads and forum participation.
- Support unsubscribe requests, suppression of unsubscribed contacts and export of authorized records.
- Include a privacy notice explaining data usage, retention and user rights.

## 4. Discussion forum
- Integrate a WordPress-compatible discussion forum.
- Allow public reading but require authenticated, verified-email accounts to post and reply.
- Allow eligible software registrants to access the community without creating duplicate accounts.
- Provide these categories: Features, Issues/Bugs, Installation, Configuration, Documentation and General Discussion.
- Support topics, threaded replies, tags, search, editing, reporting and moderation.
- Add rate limits, CAPTCHA or equivalent protection, spam detection and administrator moderation tools.
- Show a verified-user badge only when the applicable verification criteria are satisfied.
- Provide community rules, acceptable-use policy and a clear reporting process.

## 5. Administration
- Provide an administrative view of registrations, verified users, download events, active forum users, feature requests and issue reports.
- Support filtering, CSV export, duplicate detection and data deletion workflows.
- Restrict access to personal data according to administrator permissions.
- Record consent changes and relevant administrative actions.

## 6. Acceptance criteria
- A new user can register, verify their email and receive a working download link.
- An unverified user cannot obtain the protected download.
- A verified user can sign in and participate in the forum without repeatedly entering their email.
- Anonymous visitors cannot post comments.
- Marketing consent is independent of software registration.
- Unsubscribed users are excluded from promotional campaigns.
- Download events are recorded only when the download endpoint is actually used.
- The system is responsive, secure, backed up and tested before launch.

Before implementation, document the proposed WordPress plugins, hosting requirements, recurring costs, data flows and any custom development. Avoid duplicating functionality already available on the existing website.
