I’m looking for an experienced n8n Automation Specialist to build and maintain reliable, hands-free workflows connecting multiple platforms through APIs.
The goal is to automate repetitive business processes, move data between systems, and make sure workflows continue running reliably without constant manual intervention.
What you’ll be working with
n8n – workflow design, triggers, nodes, branching, loops, and automation logic
REST APIs – connecting external platforms and handling API requests/responses
CRM systems – syncing and updating leads, contacts, customers, and activities
E-commerce platforms – product, order, customer, and inventory data
Google Sheets / Excel – automated data collection, transformation, and reporting
Email & Slack – automated notifications, alerts, and workflow updates
Webhooks – real-time event-driven automation
AI APIs – integrating AI models into business workflows where required
What I need from you
Design and build n8n workflows based on business requirements.
Integrate third-party platforms using REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, API keys, and authentication.
Transform, validate, filter, and map data between different systems.
Build conditional logic, loops, retries, and error-handling into workflows.
Troubleshoot existing n8n workflows and fix failed API requests or data-sync issues.
Optimize workflows for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
Set up useful logging, alerts, and failure notifications through email or Slack.
Clearly document completed workflows so they can be maintained or extended later.
Important
Most workflows will need to be built inside a self-hosted n8n environment, so you should be comfortable working with n8n deployments, credentials, webhooks, APIs, and basic Docker/server configuration.
I’m looking for someone who understands automation architecture, not someone who simply connects a few nodes together.
If you’ve built complex n8n workflows involving multiple APIs, webhooks, CRMs, e-commerce systems, databases, or AI integrations, please share a few relevant examples or screenshots of your previous work.
Please also mention which APIs and automation platforms you have worked with and your hourly rate.
