MySQL Backup Merge & Proof

I have a MySQL dump from one server that needs to be merged into an existing MySQL database on another server. The source and destination may not share identical schemas, so part of the job is to compare structures, adjust where required, and import the data without corrupting or overwriting what is already there.

Scope of work
• Inspect both schemas, highlight any differences, and make the minimal changes needed for a smooth merge.
• Import the user data from the backup file, preserving all current records in the target database and avoiding duplicate primary keys or orphaned relationships.
• Capture clear screenshots of the target database immediately before the merge (showing table sizes or row counts) and again after a successful import. These images will serve as completion proof.
• Provide a short text log or SQL script of the exact commands run so I can reproduce or audit the process later.

You will receive:
– The .sql backup file.
– Hostname, user, and password for the destination MySQL instance (phpMyAdmin and SSH access available).

Deliverables
1. Updated live database with all data merged correctly.
2. “Before” and “After” screenshots.
3. A brief step-by-step summary or script.
