I’m ready to move from sketches and wireframes to a working MVP for a brand-new social networking app on both iOS and Android. The very first release is intentionally lean: the only functional pillar I need right now is a robust User Profile module.
Here’s what that profile must support from day one:
• Profile picture upload and display
• A short bio or description field users can edit at any time
• A Friends / Followers list that shows mutual connections in real time
Access to the app will rely solely on a classic email-and-password flow—for now I’m not adding social logins or phone verification, but the codebase should be flexible enough to accommodate those later.
On the back end I’ll need secure user management, basic analytics hooks, and an admin panel that lets me view, search, and deactivate accounts. Everything should be wired for easy deployment to the App Store and Google Play once the MVP is approved.
Please tell me which cross-platform stack you prefer and how you would structure the database and API. A concise roadmap, milestone breakdown, and quick note on how you handle post-launch bug fixes will help me choose the right partner.
