Hello PCBWay, I need you to design and supply a fully assembled, programmable PCB for a battery-powered motion recorder. I do not have a schematic and cannot solder components myself. Please check whether an existing design could be adapted to reduce the cost. **Shape and size** - Rectangular PCB with rounded corners. - Standard credit-card dimensions: 85.60 × 53.98 mm. - Keep the PCB and components as thin as practical. - A separate flat LiPo battery will sit behind the PCB. Please keep the battery area clear of tall components. **Hardware** - A low-cost, low-power microcontroller that I can program myself. - An onboard 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope. - Two assembled push buttons: 1. Power on/off. 2. Start recording; press the same button again to stop and save. - One programmable status LED: - Off: device powered off. - Steady: powered on, ready. - Blinking: recording. - One USB-C port for programming, charging and downloading recordings. - The device must also power on and operate through USB-C with no battery connected. - A low-profile, right-angle connector for a separate rechargeable 3.7 V LiPo battery, allowing its cable and battery to lie flat. - Battery charging and protection circuitry, with charging current suitable for the selected battery. - Nonvolatile memory to retain recordings after power-off. Please maximize useful recording capacity within the budget. - Everything must arrive assembled, including buttons, LED, sensors and connectors. No soldering or separate programming hardware should be required. **Recording operation** The device must record timestamped readings from all six motion axes: acceleration X/Y/Z and gyroscope X/Y/Z. Pressing the recording button starts a new recording. Pressing it again stops recording and safely saves the data. Previously saved recordings must remain available after restarting the device. Please propose a practical sampling rate and explain: - Available recording memory. - Maximum recording duration. - How multiple recordings are stored. - What happens when memory is full. - How recordings can be downloaded through USB-C, preferably as CSV files. Please provide instructions for uploading my own firmware from a Mac through USB-C. **Budget and quantities** My maximum target is €2 per fully assembled PCB, including all onboard components, excluding the battery, enclosure, shipping and one-time design costs. Please quote separately: 1. Complete schematic and PCB design. 2. Firmware implementing the operation above. 3. Prototype manufacturing, assembly and functional testing. 4. An initial batch of 10 fully assembled boards. 5. A later batch of 100 fully assembled boards. 6. Shipping and additional charges. If €2 per assembled board is not achievable, please state the lowest achievable price for each quantity and explain any changes that could reduce the cost. Please do not remove required functions without discussing them first. **Deliverables and testing** Please supply: - Editable schematic and PCB design files. - Gerber files. - BOM with exact component part numbers. - Pick-and-place files. - Firmware source code, if commissioned. - USB-C programming and data-download instructions. - Prototype test results. Please verify both buttons, LED states, all six motion axes, recording storage and retrieval, USB-C programming, battery charging, battery operation and USB-only operation without a battery. Please send an itemized quotation, proposed components, PCB thickness, maximum assembled height, storage capacity and lead time before starting paid work. Thank you.
