I’m looking for a structural engineer who already knows the ins-and-outs of steel modular supports used in industrial facilities. The immediate priority is to create new support designs that meet plant load requirements, provide stamped calculations, and fit seamlessly into a modular installation workflow. Once the designs are drafted, I’ll also need you to plan and oversee on-site or lab testing so we can verify load capacity, vibration behaviour, and connection integrity.

After testing, I want clear, actionable recommendations—anything from minor tweaks to full redesigns—summarised in a concise report that plant management can act on without wading through pages of theory. Your final package should include:

• Signed design drawings (PDF + editable source)
• Calculation sheets compliant with the relevant industrial codes
• A testing protocol, raw data, and a short interpretive report
• A “next steps” memo outlining optimisation or maintenance suggestions

Familiarity with common steel grades, finite-element analysis tools, and on-site testing standards will help you hit the ground running. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s talk timeframes and milestone sequencing so we can keep our production schedule on track.
