Modern Wedding Ceiling Drapery

I have a wedding coming up in a venue with soaring ceilings and I want the space transformed with a modern-and-chic drape treatment. The reference photos are attached so you can see the height, rigging points and the general mood I’m after.

The brief
• Event: Wedding
• Look & feel: Clean, modern, slightly luxe rather than traditional swags
• Preferred fabrics: Lycra or velvet (open to your advice on weight, fall and fire-safety requirements)
• Ceiling height: 8m high

What I need from you
1. A quick concept sketch or 3D mock-up showing panel placement, color suggestions and lighting integration.
2. A materials list with yardage, rigging hardware and any specialty equipment you’ll need from me or the venue.
3. On-site installation at Clearance House, Lidcombe NSW the day before the event and safe removal right after.
4. Photo proof of the final set-up for sign-off.

You should already have hands-on experience draping venues of similar scale—please link or attach at least two examples that demonstrate clean lines and precise drops, not just wall treatments. Knowledge of tension cables, truss systems, scissor lifts or genie lifts is essential.

Timing is tight, so once I approve the concept I’ll need final specs within 48 hours and installation scheduled two weeks from now. If everything sounds clear, send over your portfolio and a brief outline of how you would tackle this ceiling.
