I’m looking to commission a set of high-impact crosshatch illustrations that will be featured across our upcoming marketing and advertising materials. The focus is people—expressive portraits that feel alive—yet I want them pushed into a modern, even slightly experimental direction rather than the classic engraving look.
You’ll receive concise art-direction notes for each person we need illustrated, including reference photos, target emotions, and the media where the artwork will appear (digital banners, print ads, and a few large-format posters). I’m open to subtle abstractions or unexpected line weights if they elevate the piece, but everything must stay recognisably portrait-driven so the audience immediately connects with the subject.
Final assets should arrive press-ready:
• 300-dpi layered files (PSD or TIFF) plus transparent PNGs for web
• CMYK and RGB colour profiles where tinting or limited colour washes are applied
• Clean, organised layers so our design team can tweak background tones if needed
I’ll review rough pencil or digital thumbnails first, then a single refined proof for each portrait before you move on to finals; that way feedback is quick and focused. If you thrive on detailed line work, enjoy experimenting within the crosshatch tradition, and can keep an eye on real-world brand impact, I’d love to see your portfolio and talk timing.
