Mobile & API Release QA Testing

We’re ready to bring an experienced QA engineer into our remote product squad so every build leaves our pipeline bullet-proof. Your first job will be to craft and run thorough functional test plans for our iOS and Android apps, partnering daily with backend and mobile devs through Slack and the CI dashboard.

The immediate focus is to walk every user-facing flow end-to-end—authentication, payments and real-time sync—on real devices and emulators. You’ll log defects in Jira with crystal-clear reproduction steps, confirm fixes on the next build and keep a tight feedback loop going until the issue count hits zero. Regression and integration coverage for our REST APIs will follow once the core mobile work is stable.

If you’re comfortable layering in automated tests (JavaScript / TypeScript, React Native, Postman or similar) and wiring them into our GitHub Actions pipeline, you’ll have room to improve our velocity as well.

Deliverables for each sprint
• A written functional test plan covering the latest tickets
• Complete device/browser matrix results with pass/fail notes
• Verified, reproducible bug reports and a retest confirmation for every fix

Acceptance criteria
• All critical flows pass on both platforms before release
• No high-severity defects remain open by code-freeze
• Test evidence and logs are attached in Jira for auditing
