I am looking for a friendly, patient English speaker to play Minecraft with my 6-year-old child and help the child become comfortable speaking English.
Near-native English is fine. Applicants from the Philippines or other similar price ranges are welcome.
This is not a formal English class. The goal is natural conversation while playing: simple words, short sentences, listening, and building confidence to speak.
About the child:
- Age: 6
- English level: beginner / very limited speaking
- Needs a warm, encouraging adult, not a strict teacher
- Sessions should feel like playing with a kind older friend
What you will do:
- Play Minecraft together in a private world / Realm (not public servers)
- Guide simple activities such as exploring, building, gathering, small challenges, and creative play
- Speak English clearly and slowly
- Encourage the child to use easy phrases like “Let’s go,” “I want this,” “Can you help me?”, and names of items, colors, animals, and actions
- Repeat key words naturally during the game
- Keep the session fun. If the child is shy or tired, slow down and play first
Very important: clean language only.
This is a young child. You must use safe, polite, child-friendly English at all times.
Do not use swear words, rude slang, adult topics, or a harsh tone.
If you cannot keep the language 100% clean, please do not apply.
Session details:
- 30–40 minutes per session
- 3–5 times per week (can discuss)
- Voice chat on Discord or Zoom + Minecraft
- Please tell me which edition you use: Java, Bedrock, or Minecraft Education Edition
- A parent may join or listen during the first sessions

- Clear, easy-to-understand English
- Kind, patient, and good with young children
- Familiar with Minecraft, or willing to learn quickly
- Stable internet, working microphone, quiet environment
- Reliable and on time
