Project Overview

The Milton Foundation Members App is a mobile application designed to connect foundation members with the organisation’s charity activities, events, announcements, food service initiatives, Vagai cleaning activities, and community services.

The app will provide members with a simple, professional platform to stay updated, participate in events, view service activities, and access their digital membership ID card.

Core Features

1. Home Dashboard

The home page should provide an attractive, simple overview of the foundation’s activities.

- Stories-style updates at the top
- Image carousel / promotional banners
- Latest announcements
- Upcoming events
- Main activities
- Food Annadhanam day counter
- Quick-access buttons

2. Food Annadhanam Counter

Display the foundation’s service milestone prominently.

Example:

925 Days of Annadhanam
Serving food • Spreading kindness

The number should be manageable from the Admin Panel so it can be updated whenever required.

3. Our Main Events

The app should prominently showcase the foundation’s major activities:

- Food Annadhanam
- Vagai Cleaning

Each event should contain:

- Event image
- Event title
- Date
- Time
- Location
- Description
- Event status
- Register / Participate button

4. Stories-Style Home Updates

At the top of the home page, provide Instagram-style circular stories.

- Latest Update

Admin should be able to upload images and create new story updates.

5. Image Carousel

The home page should contain an image carousel for important activities and announcements.

Admin can:

- Upload images

- Set display order
- Enable / disable banners

6. Image Gallery

Members can view foundation activity photos.

Categories:

- Food Annadhanam
- Vagai Cleaning
- Events
- Volunteers
- Other Activities

Support grid-style image display with full-screen image viewing.

7. Event Updates & Push Notifications

Members should receive push notifications whenever there is a new event or important update.

Examples:

New Event
“Food Annadhanam event has been scheduled. Join us and be part of the service.”

Event Update
“Vagai Cleaning activity timing has been updated.”

New Photos
“Photos from our latest service activity are now available.”

Notifications should support:

- New event
- Event changes
- Event reminders
- New gallery photos

- Important member updates

8. Digital Member ID Card

Every approved member should receive a digital membership card inside the app.

Card should display:

- Member photo
- Member name
- Member ID
- Foundation logo
- Membership status
- Validity
- QR code

Option to Download / View Digital ID Card.

9. Member Profile

Members can view and manage their basic information.

- Profile photo
- Name
- Mobile number
- Email
- Member ID
- Membership status
- Membership validity

10. Admin Panel

A web-based Admin Panel is required to manage the app.

Admin should be able to:

- Add / edit / approve members
- Create events
- Update event details
- Upload stories
- Upload carousel banners
- Upload gallery images
- Update Annadhanam day count
- Send push notifications

- View member list
- Manage app content

Additional features such as donations, volunteer management, advanced analytics, AI features, and complex reports can be added in Phase 2 after the MVP launch.
