I need a working scale model of a metal windmill that can draw between 10 – 50 litres of water per hour from a shallow well. The look should be clean and purposeful—something more involved than a basic toy yet not an intricate showpiece. In other words, a moderate-complexity design: sturdy, reliable, and realistically engineered without unnecessary ornamentation.

Key points to keep in mind
• Material: all major structural and moving parts must be metal.
• Capacity target: 10–50 L/h under a steady breeze (please state the wind speed you base calculations on).
• Size: small enough for desktop or garden-demo use; I’m flexible here as long as it meets the capacity goal.
• Drive train: open to gearboxes, direct crank arms, or other mechanical solutions—efficiency and durability matter more than style.
• Power source: wind only (no hidden electric assist).

Deliverables
• 3-D CAD files (SolidWorks or comparable format)
• Detailed engineering drawings with dimensions and tolerances
• Complete parts list specifying metal types, fasteners, bearings, seals, etc.
• Assembly guide with step-by-step instructions and photos or renders
• Basic performance calculation sheet showing expected flow rate vs. wind speed
• Short video or animation demonstrating mechanism operation (rendered is fine if physical prototype isn’t supplied)

Acceptance criteria
The design must pump at least 10 L/h at the stated test wind speed using a 1-meter static head. All files have to be ready for fabrication with no missing dimensions.

If you have past examples of small wind-powered mechanisms or pump systems, sharing those will help me understand your approach. I’ll happily answer any technical questions so we can get this model spinning and pumping smoothly.
