I have two OBJ scans of the same hand-carved ceremonial mask—one captures the exterior, the other the interior. Your job is to fuse them into a single, watertight file that preserves every carved ridge and groove so I can send it straight to the printer.
Scope of work
• Precisely align and merge the outer and inner scans.
• Eliminate every reference sticker and target without softening surrounding detail.
• Patch holes, close seams and correct any non-manifold edges so the mesh passes standard print checks.
• Retouch the worn padding residue on the inside until it blends naturally with the surrounding wood grain.
• Maintain high detail with the original hand-carved texture clearly visible on the finished surface.
Key focus areas
– Outer surface details
– Inner padding residue
– Reference markers removal
Deliverables
1. One merged, cleaned, watertight OBJ (or STL if preferred) ready for 3-D printing.
2. A brief change log or screen grabs showing the main repairs, just so I can see what was altered.
Tools
I’m comfortable with outputs from Blender, ZBrush, or Meshmixer workflows, so use whichever lets you deliver the sharpest result.
You’ll find the full brief, high-res photos and dimensions in the attached Word document. Let me know if you need any additional measurements before you start.
