MEP Engineer for Commercial Drawing Revisions

Commercial Building – MEP Drawing Revision & Comment Incorporation
Project Overview
I am looking for an experienced Mechanical/MEP Engineer to review and revise an existing mechanical drawing package for a commercial building.

The main scope is to apply and incorporate the received comments and revisions into the existing drawings. This is not a full MEP design-from-scratch project.

Scope of Work
The freelancer will be responsible for reviewing the existing drawings and applying all relevant comments and required revisions for:

Plumbing
HVAC
Fire Protection / Fire Fighting

The work may include:

Reviewing consultant/client comments
Revising existing layouts and drawings accordingly
Updating pipe and duct routing where required
Revising equipment locations and connections
Updating dimensions, annotations, tags and legends
Updating riser diagrams, schematics and details
Correcting design/drafting issues identified in the comments
Ensuring consistency between plans, sections, details and schedules
Coordinating revisions between the different mechanical systems
Incorporating all comments accurately and systematically
Issuing the revised drawings for the next submission/review

Required Experience
I am looking for a senior Mechanical/MEP Engineer with strong commercial building experience, particularly in:

HVAC
Plumbing
Fire Protection
MEP coordination
Construction/shop drawings
Consultant comment resolution

Strong experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP is required.

The freelancer should be able to understand engineering comments independently, determine the required technical revisions, and implement them correctly rather than simply making drafting changes.
Deliverables
The final deliverables should include:

Revised HVAC drawings
Revised Plumbing drawings
Revised Fire Protection drawings
Updated calculations where specifically required by the comments
Updated schedules/details/risers where applicable
Clean, coordinated drawings with all comments incorporated
Final editable CAD/Revit files
PDF submission set

The freelancer should also provide a comment response/revision status showing that all received comments have been addressed.

Proposal Requirements
Please provide:

Your experience with similar commercial MEP revision projects.
Examples of previous HVAC, plumbing and fire protection work.
Your experience handling consultant/client comments.
Software you use (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc.).
Estimated turnaround time.
Fixed price or pricing structure.

Please note: The primary requirement is the revision and incorporation of comments into the existing MEP drawings, not a complete redesign of the building.
