Project Description
I am a tattoo artist looking for an illustrator for ongoing medieval woodcut / engraving style tattoo flash designs.
Each flash sheet will contain approximately 4–6 simple tattoo designs.
I will provide the themes, general direction, and examples of my own tattoo artwork as style references.
I am looking for:
* Simple, tattoo-friendly designs
* Strong silhouettes
* Clean linework
* Simple woodcut / engraving-style hatching
* Original compositions
* Artwork that is not overly detailed or realistic
Typical subjects may include knights, skeletons, animals, medieval weapons and objects, mythology, religious imagery, dark fantasy, and medieval scenes.
Budget: US$25–30 per completed flash sheet containing 4–6 designs, depending on complexity.
This is paid per flash sheet, not hourly.
I will start with one paid test flash sheet.
If your work, communication, and turnaround are a good fit, I am looking for someone I can work with regularly and long-term, not just for one or two projects.
File requirements:
* Editable Procreate (.procreate) file with layers intact
* High-resolution PNG
I need to be able to make adjustments to the artwork myself afterward, so the layered Procreate file is important.
Please include:
* Your portfolio
* 3–5 examples of relevant artwork
* Your Procreate experience
* Approximate turnaround time for one 4–6 design flash sheet
After reviewing your portfolio, I will send selected applicants examples of my own tattoo artwork so you can understand the visual direction I am looking for.
I am looking for original artwork with similar overall linework, hatching, and visual direction — not tracing or direct copying.
All commissioned artwork must be original. Upon full payment, all copyright and commercial usage rights for the commissioned artwork will be assigned to me.
The artwork may not be reused, resold, shared, published, uploaded to social media, or used in a portfolio without my written permission.
Please write “WOODCUT” at the beginning of your proposal so I know you have read the full description.
