Freelance Medical/Scientific Writers Required – Publication Writing

We are looking for experienced freelance medical/scientific writers to support an upcoming scientific publication project.

Scope of work may include:
• Original research manuscript writing
• Narrative/review articles
• Manuscript outlines
• Scientific abstracts
• Conference posters
• Literature review and reference management
• Preparation/revision of tables and figures
• Journal-specific formatting
• Addressing author/reviewer comments and manuscript revisions

Key responsibilities:
• Develop scientifically accurate and well-structured content based on the study data and source materials provided.
• Conduct relevant literature searches using PubMed, Google Scholar and other scientific databases.
• Ensure that scientific statements are appropriately supported by peer-reviewed references.
• Maintain accurate citations and references throughout the document.
• Follow applicable publication/reporting guidelines such as ICMJE, CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA and CARE, depending on the project.
• Ensure originality, scientific accuracy and consistency of the final deliverable.

Preferred qualifications:
• MSc/PhD/PharmD/MD or equivalent qualification in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Medicine or a related field.
• Previous experience in medical/scientific writing and peer-reviewed publications.
• Strong scientific literature-search and interpretation skills.
• Good understanding of research methodology and basic biostatistics.
• Ability to work independently and meet agreed timelines.

Experience in clinical research, molecular diagnostics, genomics, reproductive medicine, biotechnology or laboratory medicine would be an advantage.
