I’d like a clean, distraction-free personal blog that looks and feels as good on a phone as it does on a large desktop. The visual direction is minimalist: generous white space, legible typography, subtle color accents, and zero clutter. Pages should load quickly, images should be optimised without losing quality, and the layout must stay perfectly responsive across all break-points.

I’m open to your preferred stack—WordPress (a lightweight custom theme or a child theme built with Gutenberg/Elementor), a static-site generator such as Hugo/Jekyll, or a hand-coded HTML5 / CSS3 solution with a sprinkle of vanilla JavaScript. Whichever route you recommend, I need:

• A fully responsive home page that highlights my latest posts.
• Simple, well-commented templates for standard blog articles so I can publish new content without touching code.
• Basic SEO best practices baked in (semantic markup, Open Graph tags, fast CLS & LCP scores).
• An intuitive way for me to adjust colors, fonts and header imagery later on.
• Clean Git-friendly file structure so future updates are straightforward.

Before sign-off, I’ll test the site on Chrome, Safari, Firefox and two mobile browsers. As long as each page renders correctly, passes a Google Lighthouse score of 90+ and the CSS/JS footprint stays lean, we’re good to go. Source files, brief documentation and a short hand-off call will complete the project.
