Medical Intake & Insurance VA

My practice needs steady support with the day-to-day coordination that keeps our patient flow moving. The core of the role is handling new-patient intake and completing insurance verification swiftly so treatment is never delayed. Alongside that, I want my inbox kept organized, spreadsheets updated, and calendars locked in without clashes.

Typical work you will touch each day includes:
• Verifying coverage and benefits with insurers and recording the details in our system
• Entering patient demographics, notes, and authorizations with perfect accuracy
• Confirming, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments talking with patients and sending reminders
• Sorting, flagging, and replying to routine emails so only the critical items reach me

I work inside cloud-based EHR and scheduling software; if you already know tools like Kareo, Tebra, RXNT or a comparable platform it will help you ramp up faster, but a sharp eye for detail and respect for HIPAA protocols matter most. Must be able to have secure VPN

Deliverables are accepted when:
1. Insurance data is logged with no missing fields or transcription errors Intake paperwork is completed with patients.
2. Appointment slots match the master calendar and the patient has received confirmation.
3. Daily inbox folders show zero un-triaged messages at close of business.
