Business Photo & Video Curation + Google Drive Organization
Project Overview
I have approximately 2 TB of business photos and videos that need to be professionally reviewed, curated, and organized in Google Drive.
This is not simply a file-sorting or data-entry job.
I want someone with strong visual judgment who can identify the best, most professional and visually appealing media and organize it into a very specific folder structure.
The goal is to create a clean, easy-to-use library that I can use for my website, social media, advertising, marketing, and future content.
Main Categories
I want the media organized primarily into these categories:
• Aerials
• Dogs
• Crabbing
• Scuba
• Fishing
• Sunsets
• Close-Ups / Details of Boats
• Website Photos
There may be additional categories that make sense as you review the library, but these are the primary categories I want used.
Website Photos
The Website Photos section is especially important.
Website photos should be organized by the specific boat/model they represent.
For example:
Website Photos
• LX 320
• HD 420
• [Other Model]
• [Other Model]
If a photo clearly represents a particular model, it should be placed into that model's folder.
Please do not simply put all boat photos into one general "Boats" folder.
Visual Curation
The most important part of this project is choosing the best media.
I do NOT want every photo simply organized into a folder.
When there are 10 similar photos, I want you to select the strongest ones.
Look for:
• Excellent composition
• Good lighting
• Sharpness
• Attractive angles
• Professional appearance
• Interesting moments
• Strong colors
• Good subject positioning
• Images that would work well for marketing
• Images that represent the business and products well
Please remove/segregate:
• Blurry photos
• Poorly exposed photos
• Awkward shots
• Unflattering images
• Near-duplicates
• Repetitive images
• Photos with obvious technical problems
• Images with little or no marketing value
Do not permanently delete anything without approval.
Weak or questionable media should go into a REVIEW / ARCHIVE folder.
Example Folder Structure
The final structure should be approximately:
01 — AERIALS
02 — DOGS
03 — CRABBING
04 — SCUBA
05 — FISHING
06 — SUNSETS
07 — CLOSE-UPS & BOAT DETAILS
08 — WEBSITE PHOTOS
• LX 320
• HD 420
• Other Models
09 — BEST / MARKETING
• Best Photos
• Best Videos
• Social Media
• Advertising
10 — REVIEW / ARCHIVE
The exact structure can be refined as the project progresses.
Important — Use Your Judgment
Some media may belong in more than one category.
For example, a beautiful aerial photo of an LX 320 on the water could potentially belong in:
• Aerials
• Website Photos → LX 320
• Best / Marketing
Use your judgment to determine the most useful organization.
I am more interested in having a useful, professional media library than rigidly following a filing system.
Paid Trial
Because this is a large project, I want to begin with a paid trial of approximately 500–1,000 files.
The trial will allow me to evaluate your:
• Visual judgment
• Ability to identify the best images
• Ability to identify duplicates
• Ability to categorize images correctly
• Understanding of boat models
• Folder organization
• Attention to detail
If the trial is successful, there will be an opportunity to continue organizing the full 2 TB library.
Do Not Delete
Nothing should be permanently deleted without my approval.
Anything you believe should be discarded should initially be moved or copied into:
REVIEW / DELETE LATER
Original files must remain safe.
Ideal Freelancer
I'm looking for someone with experience in one or more of these areas:
• Photography
• Photo editing
• Video editing
• Content creation
• Social media
• Marketing
• Digital asset management
• Google Drive organization
• Marine/boating photography
Someone who understands what makes a photo look great is much more important to me than someone who simply knows how to create folders

Photo editing experience is a plus. The ideal freelancer should be able to make basic professional adjustments to selected images—such as cropping, exposure, color, contrast, and minor retouching—and prepare high-quality photos for website, social media, and advertising use. More advanced editing skills are welcome.
