Master SQL, dbt, Snowflake, Fivetran

I’m a complete beginner to data engineering and want a structured, guided path that quickly gets me comfortable with real-world workflows. My first priority is solid data modeling, but I’d like each concept tied directly to hands-on practice as well as the “why” behind it, so theory and application move together.

The stack I need to master is SQL, dbt, Snowflake, and Fivetran. A typical session might start with designing a dimensional model, move into building that model in Snowflake, automate the ELT with Fivetran, and finish by transforming the data with dbt—all committed to Git so best practices stick from day one.

I learn fastest by doing, so please be ready to:

• Walk through short, focused explanations, then immediately switch to screen-sharing or live coding.
• Provide mini projects or exercises that I can extend between sessions.
• Review my work, highlight mistakes, and suggest improvements so I build good habits early.

By the end of our engagement I should have:

• At least one end-to-end pipeline in my own Snowflake account, scheduled and monitored.
• A dbt project with documented models, tests, and sources.
• Reproducible notes or cheat-sheets summarising the theory we cover.
