I am rolling out a new ERP across our fleet and must build a high-quality Spare Parts Library inside its Planned Maintenance System. All information will come from the vessels’ drawings and technical manuals that I will supply.

Scope
• Populate the Spare Parts module directly through the ERP’s front-end (no CSV, Excel, or external database imports).
• Capture only the part specifications at this stage; supplier details and inventory figures will be added later in-house.
• Align every entry with the vessel’s equipment hierarchy and our naming conventions.
• Verify accuracy against the source documentation before submission.

Why experience matters
The job requires someone who has already created or maintained PMS libraries for ships or offshore assets. Familiarity with class requirements, manufacturer nomenclature, and the typical structure of marine technical manuals will let you move quickly without hand-holding.

Deliverable
A fully populated Spare Parts Library ready for user acceptance testing, accompanied by a brief reconciliation report highlighting any ambiguous or missing data identified during entry.

I will provide remote ERP access, the manuals, and a template that outlines the mandatory specification fields. Once we review your past maritime PMS work, we can agree on milestones and timelines.
