I need a small internal site that lets our team upload new material-design files and keep everyone in the loop about where each item sits in the manufacturing pipeline. Although I chose “Interactive” in the brief, the first release can be a lean static implementation—pure HTML / CSS / JavaScript is fine—so long as the screens feel responsive and easy to use.
Here’s the core flow I’m after:
• Upload: stakeholders drop a PDF, DXF or similar file and enter a short description.
• Status selection: a simple menu (Submitted, Tooling, In Production, QC, Shipped) attaches a status to each item.
• Overview: a dashboard instantly lists every design with its current stage so anyone can scan progress at a glance.
• Edit: we can click an entry to move it to the next stage or correct details.
Everything lives client-side for now; no complex back-end or real-time feeds are required. I’ll provide all copy, colors, and branding assets, so you can focus purely on structure, styling, and light scripting.
I will provide the details in a word document for detailed pages
Acceptance criteria
1. Clean, modern layout matching Google-material style cues.
2. Works in the latest Chrome, Firefox, and Edge without build errors.
3. All data persists locally MS Sql to be used
4. Clear instructions in a README explaining how to add or change stages in the future.
If you have questions about assets or the exact status labels, just let me know—content is coming directly from our stakeholders.
