## What you'll make
A new logo for **LightningBolt**, a company that teaches blind and low-vision people to use AI. The logo will be seen by sighted partners, funders and families, and by many low-vision learners, so it must be bold, high-contrast and simple. It has to work everywhere: website header, app icon, social avatar, slides and print.
## How it works
1. **Three concepts.** Send three genuinely different directions (for example: a wordmark, a symbol plus wordmark, a monogram or abstract mark). Show each in color and in black on white, with a short note on the idea behind it.
2. **Refine one.** We pick one and give feedback. Up to two rounds of revisions are included.
3. **Final package.**
- Editable vector source (AI or EPS), plus SVG and PDF
- Transparent PNGs at 512, 1024 and 2048px wide
- Variants: full color, black, white (for dark backgrounds), and an icon-only square mark legible at 32px
- A one-page usage sheet: color codes (HEX, RGB, CMYK), font names, minimum clear space, and a one-sentence alt-text description of the logo for screen readers
## Constraints
- The name is spelled **LightningBolt** (one word, capital L and B).
- High contrast: colors must meet at least 4.5:1 against their background, and the logo must read without relying on color. It must work in one color.
- Clear, legible letterforms; avoid thin hairlines and tiny details.
- Empowering, not pitying. No dark glasses, white canes or crossed-out eyes.
- Original work only. No stock icons, templates or AI-generated images.
- Fonts must be free for commercial use, or name the license.
## Your creative freedom
Typography, palette and the concept of the mark are yours. A lightning bolt is the obvious idea; use it cleverly or go less literal. Ideas around speed, energy, sound, touch or independence are all fair game. A simple, solid silhouette that could also be embossed as a tactile mark is a plus. We want modern, confident and clean, not clip-art.
## How we judge it
- Distinctive and memorable at a glance?
- Holds up small, in one color, and for low-vision viewers?
- Are the three concepts truly different?
- Are the final files complete, clean and well organized?
