# Developer Needed – Build an AI-Powered Services Marketplace (Similar to Airtasker & Shiply)

Hi,

I'm looking for an experienced full-stack developer to build a professional services marketplace platform, similar to **Airtasker, Shiply and TaskRabbit**, but with our own unique branding, design and additional AI features.

The goal is to create a platform where customers can post jobs they need completed, service providers can submit competitive quotations, and the platform earns a commission from each successful transaction.

**How the platform should work:**

1. **Customer accounts:** Customers can register, post jobs, upload photos, specify locations, set budgets and review quotations.
2. **Service provider accounts:** Workers and businesses can create profiles, select their services, browse available jobs and submit quotations.
3. **Bidding system:** Multiple providers can compete for the same job, and customers can compare prices, ratings and profiles before choosing someone.
4. **Payments and commission:** Customers pay securely through the platform. The system automatically deducts our commission (initially 15%) and manages payments to service providers using Stripe Connect or another suitable marketplace payment solution.
5. **Messaging:** Built-in private messaging between customers and service providers.
6. **Reviews and ratings:** Customers can leave reviews after completed jobs.
7. **Admin dashboard:** Full control over users, jobs, transactions, commissions, disputes and platform settings.
8. **AI features:** AI-assisted job descriptions, automatic job categorisation, intelligent matching of suitable providers and recommendations.

**Service categories:**

The platform should support multiple categories, including handyman services, home renovations, cleaning, gardening, furniture assembly, transport, removals, deliveries and other professional services.

New categories should be easy to add without major development.

**Technical requirements:**

- Modern, professional and responsive website for desktop and mobile.
- Secure backend, database and user authentication.
- Scalable architecture that can support future growth.
- Secure marketplace payment integration.
- Automated notifications.
- Appropriate security and data protection measures.
- Original design inspired by established marketplaces, not a direct copy.
- Full ownership of the source code and project files.
- Ability to develop native iOS and Android apps in the future.

**Development approach:**

I'm open to using modern development frameworks and AI-assisted development tools such as Emergent AI or Lovable, provided the final product is reliable, secure, maintainable and fully functional.

I would prefer to start with a working MVP and then expand the platform with additional features.
