Logo & Branding for Grain

I’m opening a small artisan micro-bakery and coffee bar called grain, grain should be written entirely in lower-case so the initial “g” becomes the visual hero. I need a fresh, modern identity that feels warm and organic—think gentle browns and muted pastil yellows and blues.

Here’s what I’m after: a clean wordmark paired with a simple icon that can sit above, beside, or stand alone from the text. The font choice should be contemporary yet friendly, with enough personality to carry menus, cups, and signage without losing legibility. The icon can draw inspiration from a grain kernel, rising dough, or even the swirl of a latte; I’m open as long as it complements the typography and keeps the overall look modern rather than vintage.
