Phase 1 of our video-first social network is live and stable; users can already record, upload, and share short-form videos. It is now time to grow the platform through two consecutive milestones.
Phase 2 focuses on premium live streaming. I need the full stack that allows creators to go live from web and mobile, broadcast in real time, and receive donations or tips while on air. An integrated payment gateway—Stripe or PayPal—is the preferred route, so the viewer never leaves the stream to complete a contribution. Please architect the feature set to include scalable ingest servers, adaptive bitrate delivery, real-time chat, on-screen like animations, and a transparent revenue split dashboard for creators.
Phase 3 will introduce an e-commerce layer so that those same creators can list physical or digital products, showcase them during a live session, and complete checkout without friction. Think live-shopping meets social video.
Deliverables
• Functional live-stream module with creator dashboard
• Donation/tip flow tied to Stripe/PayPal, including webhook handling and payout logic
• Admin tools for monitoring streams, transactions, and user reports
• Technical documentation and API endpoints ready for our mobile team
• Initial blueprint for the phase 3 e-commerce add-on (database schema, user flows, and integration points)
I value clean, documented code, security best practices, and a roadmap that can move quickly from proof of concept to production. If you can demonstrate previous work in WebRTC, HLS, or similar streaming protocols—and have experience wiring Stripe or PayPal into creator platforms—let’s talk timelines and milestones.
