Iraq Waze-Style Godot App

I’m building a community-driven navigation app for drivers across Iraq and I need a partner who can take the idea from polished screens to a working Godot prototype.
Scope of the first release
• Geographic coverage: the entire country, not just the big cities, so the map data and routing logic have to handle urban streets in Baghdad as smoothly as highways in the western desert.
• Driver-centric layers: real-time traffic with the fastest alternative routes, clearly flagged road closures and checkpoints, plus an easy way to surface fuel stations, parking spots, and on-route services. These three data sets are non-negotiable for this milestone.
What I already have
• A rough feature map, user stories, and example flows.
• API access to OpenStreetMap tiles and a traffic feed that can be queried every 60 seconds.
• Permission to reuse a small Figma UI kit if it accelerates your process.
What I need from you
1. UI/UX – high-fidelity mobile screens (light & dark) that feel as friendly as Waze yet respect local driving norms and bilingual signage (Arabic/Kurdish).
2. Godot implementation – a runnable Android build that:
• shows the live map with pinch/zoom/tilt,
• calculates turn-by-turn routes in under five seconds,
• overlays traffic colour bands, hazard icons, and POI markers from JSON,
• stores the last 50 km of tiles for offline fallback,
• logs anonymous speed data for later crowd-sourcing.
3. A short “how-it-works” README and commented source so the next contributor can extend it.
Acceptance
I’ll consider the milestone complete when I can install the APK on a mid-range Android phone, plan a route from Basra to Baghdad, see traffic and checkpoint overlays update live, and the UI matches the approved mock-ups pixel-for-pixel.
If you’re comfortable juggling Godot’s navigation server, vector tiles, and clean mobile design, let’s talk timelines and break the work into sensible sprints.
