I need an experienced PHP developer who can tidy up two key gaps in my PLAYTUBE-based video platform during the next 7 days.
First, our live streams currently disappear the moment the broadcast ends. I want every stream automatically captured, transcoded (if necessary) and saved as an MP4 straight into our Hetzner cloud storage. Once stored, the video must appear on the corresponding play page for on-demand playback, using the same URL structure the platform already generates for VOD content.
Second, I have a standalone Grupo Chat script that must be folded into the site so viewers can chat beside each live broadcast. The chat window should inherit our existing Single Sign-On session, meaning users who are logged in on the main site join the chat without a second login step. Chat-side tipping and paid-message features need to route through the wallet/payment logic that already powers our PLAYTUBE fork rather than Grupo’s default checkout flow.
Key deliverables (all required for acceptance)
• Automatic MP4 recording and upload to Hetzner storage for every new live stream, with a clean fallback if the connection drops.
• Database updates and front-end hooks so the saved video is listed in the creator’s library and on the original stream URL once the broadcast ends.
• Grupo Chat embedded on each live stream page, fully skinned to match our HTML/CSS.
• Seamless SSO: one login controls both the site and chat.
• Payment hooks rewired so all chat tips/paid actions debit and credit through our internal wallet.
• End-to-end testing behind Cloudflare, including edge-cache considerations for the recorded files.
• Brief hand-over notes and source-controlled code commits.
The platform stack is plain HTML on the front, a customised PLAYTUBE PHP core, Cloudflare for traffic, and Hetzner for both hosting and object storage. I am not in a huge rush but I do want it wrapped up inside a single week; my pricing expectation reflects that balanced timeline.
If you have solid Streaming + PHP integration experience, let’s get this finished.
