I need an eloquent, publication-ready German rendition of my literary text. The original prose relies on nuance, rhythm, and subtle imagery, so I’m after a translator who can recreate that same atmosphere for German-speaking readers rather than offer a word-for-word conversion.

Scope
• Source material: one complete literary manuscript (approximately 18,000 words) in English.
• Target language: German. If you usually work in Standard, Swiss, or Austrian German, feel free to tell me which register you excel in—natural flow matters more to me than rigid regional fidelity.
• Tone preservation: metaphors, idioms, and stylistic choices should feel native in German while remaining faithful to the original intent.
• Formatting: mirror the structure of chapters and paragraph breaks so layout work is minimal on my side.

Deliverables
1. A fully translated Word document.
2. A short translator’s note (half page) highlighting any unavoidable cultural adaptations.
3. One round of light revisions after my first read-through.

Acceptance criteria
– Smooth, literary German free of machine-like phrasing.
– Consistent voice and tense throughout.
– No untranslated or partially translated segments.

If this fits your expertise, let me know your typical turnaround time and a quick sample of previous literary work so we can get started.
