Lite African Ride-Hailing App

I need a lightweight, fast-loading ride-hailing application that speaks directly to users in developing African markets. Two booking flows must coexist in the same build: a live bidding option where drivers quote their fare in real time, and a conventional fixed-price option calculated automatically by the system. Users will be able to toggle between the two when they create a booking.

Core feature set
• Zoning logic so I can nudge prices down for shorter, intra-zone trips and control tariffs by region.
• Support for multiple transport packages—everything from solo motorbikes up to small vans—selectable during the booking flow.
• Rider, Driver and Admin roles with the usual account, profile and trip-management capabilities.
• Bright, colorful and vibrant UI that feels familiar on both Android and iOS; I am aiming for a fun, welcoming palette rather than a minimal corporate look.
• Fast start-up time and minimal data usage so the app remains usable on lower-spec phones and patchy networks common in many African cities.

Platforms & tech expectations
One codebase that outputs fully native builds for both iOS and Android. Whether you prefer React Native, Flutter or any comparable cross-platform toolkit is up to you; just make sure the final deliverables compile cleanly in current Xcode and Android Studio. A simple Firebase or equally lightweight backend is fine for this first release, provided it can handle real-time bid updates.

Deliverables
1. Source code with clear comments and setup instructions.
2. Two signed release builds (.ipa & .apk) ready for TestFlight and Google Play internal testing.
3. Basic admin panel (web or in-app) to review trips, fares and user reports.
4. Short hand-off document outlining environment variables, push key setup and recommended next steps.

Acceptance criteria will be a successful round-trip booking of both bid-based and fixed-price rides on actual devices in my test accounts, along with functional zoning-based price adjustments. If this first phase runs smoothly I will open a follow-up project for wallet integration and wider launch support.
