I need a detailed CAD design of an automotive-engine connecting rod that uses an internal lattice or topology-optimised structure instead of the traditional solid beam. The goal is to arrive at a manufacturable geometry that meets typical OEM loading conditions while showcasing the weight-saving potential of lattice technology.

Please base the work on a standard passenger-car gasoline engine con-rod envelope (big-end, small-end, centre-to-centre length and bolt pattern can follow any widely used spec so long as you state it clearly). I will supply peak cylinder pressure and inertial load data once we start; you can use those numbers for all stress and fatigue calculations.

Preferred workflow
• Create the baseline solid model, apply loads, then iterate a lattice/topology optimisation (nTopology, Altair Inspire, Autodesk Generative Design or similar—your choice, just note the software you use).
• Validate the final concept with finite-element analysis for static strength and high-cycle fatigue.
• Prepare manufacturing-ready files: STEP (machining) or STL (additive), plus a concise report summarising mass, safety factors, and key assumptions.

Acceptance criteria
1. Lattice rod mass at least 20 % lower than the solid baseline under identical boundary conditions.
2. Minimum factor of safety ≥1.5 on peak firing load and ≥1.1 for fatigue life over 10 million cycles.
3. All fillets, wall thicknesses and lattice cell sizes respect 3-axis CNC or metal-AM limits you specify.

If you have prior work on lattice or generative lightweighting, please mention it so I can gauge fit quickly.
