About us:
SMB Australia Car Transport is a car carrying operator running depots in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. We move vehicles for dealerships, auction houses, fleets and private customers.
We're building out our training library for drivers, contractors and yard staff, and we want it delivered online instead of on paper.
What we need:
We have written training modules ready to go. We need someone to turn them into working online courses hosted on **Embedin**, embedded into our **Wix** website, with an automatic **certificate of completion** issued to each person who passes.
Start with one module (Depot Safety — around 5 minutes of content, four sections and a six-question quiz). If it goes well there are more to follow, including a full driver induction.
What we'll give you
- The full course content, already written and finalised — text, tables and quiz questions with answers
- Our logo as a transparent PNG and our brand colours
- Access to our Wix site and our Embedin account
- A named contact for questions, with quick turnaround on approvals
You are **not** writing the training content. It's done. This is a build job.
Deliverables
1. **The course, live on Embedin** — content laid out cleanly, on brand, readable on a phone in a truck cab as well as on a desktop
2. **Working quiz** — six multiple-choice questions, pass mark of five out of six, with a retry if they don't pass
3. **Certificate of completion** — issued automatically on passing, carrying the person's name, the course name and document number, the date completed, and our logo. Downloadable or emailed as a PDF.
4. **Embedded and working on our Wix site** — tested on desktop, iPhone and Android, on a page we nominate
5. **A completion report we can access ourselves** — who completed it, when, and their result, exportable to Excel or CSV. This is a compliance record and we need to produce it in an audit, so it has to be reliable and it has to be ours.
6. **A short handover** — a written how-to (one or two pages, or a screen recording) covering how we add the next course, edit content, and pull completion records without needing you again
Important — read before you quote
- **Certificates.** Embedin doesn't appear to offer certificates of completion as a standard feature. **Tell us how you'd deliver this.** A third-party tool, an automation, a custom build — we don't mind, as long as it works reliably, looks professional and doesn't cost a fortune to run each month. If you think we've picked the wrong platform for this requirement, say so and tell us what you'd use instead. We'd rather hear it now than after we've paid for a build.
- **Who can see it.** The course is for our drivers and contractors, not the public. Tell us how you'd control access — a login, an enrolment link, a code, or something else.
- **Ongoing costs.** List every subscription or per-certificate fee we'd be signing up for, monthly and annually, separately from your own fee. No surprises later.
Who we're looking for
**Essential**
- You've built and shipped courses on an embedded or no-code course platform before, and can show us at least one live example
- You're comfortable in Wix, including embed code and site structure
- You can set up quiz logic, pass marks and automated certificate issuing
- You communicate in plain English and give realistic timeframes
Helpful, not essential
- Experience with workplace health and safety, compliance or transport industry training
- An eye for design — this carries our brand and drivers judge it in the first ten seconds
- Familiarity with SCORM or LMS reporting, in case we go that way later
Engagement
- **Type:** fixed-price contract for the first module, then we'll talk about the rest
- **Location:** remote. Australian-based preferred for timezone overlap, but not a dealbreaker if you're responsive.
- **Timeframe:** we'd like the first module live within 1 week of engaging you
- **Budget:** please quote. Break out your build fee, any set-up fees, and the ongoing platform costs separately.
