I’m starting a brand-new Laravel application and need a developer who can take it from an empty repo to a fully working MVP. The two pillars of this build are solid user authentication and clean, well-documented API endpoints that other services can consume.

Here is how I envision the first phase:

• User authentication – registration, login, password reset, email verification, role/permission structure and token-based access (Laravel Sanctum or Passport, whichever suits best).
• RESTful API integration – versioned endpoints, JSON responses, proper status codes, and Swagger/OpenAPI docs so front-end or third-party apps can plug in without guessing.
• Core project scaffolding – Laravel 10 (or latest LTS), Composer dependencies, environment configs, Docker or Sail setup for local parity.
• Database schema – migration files, seeders, and eloquent models that follow naming conventions and PSR standards.
• Tests – feature and unit tests covering auth flows and at least one API resource.

Acceptance criteria:
1. I can create a user, verify the email, log in, and retrieve a fresh API token.
2. Curling an authenticated GET /api/v1/example returns the expected JSON structure and 200 status.
3. All tests pass with phpunit and code coverage clears 80%.
4. Setup works out-of-the-box on a fresh clone with “composer install” and “php artisan migrate --seed”.

I’ll provide the private Git repository as soon as we kick off. Let me know your estimated timeline for this initial scope and link me to any similar Laravel auth/API work you’ve shipped so I can dive into the code.
