A comprehensive, up-to-date list of casual café-based meetups in Kuala Lumpur aimed at the 18-25 age group is what I need. Because these gatherings are often informal and spring up quickly, on-the-ground insight from a female local will ensure the information feels authentic, safe, and useful for young adults.
Scope of work
You will comb through social platforms (Instagram, Facebook Groups, Meetup.com, Telegram channels, Eventbrite, university boards, etc.) and any relevant local websites to find recurring or one-off casual meetups held in cafés around the city. Each entry must come with practical details: exact venue, typical schedule or next date, estimated cost (if any), organiser or host contact link, and a brief note on the vibe or purpose of the group.
Deliverables
• Spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) listing a minimum of 30 qualifying café meetups, fully populated with:
– Activity / group name
– Café location (with Google Maps link)
– Usual day & time or upcoming date
– Cost information (cover charge, minimum spend, free, etc.)
– Contact or sign-up link
– Short description (one-sentence purpose and typical attendee profile)
• One-page summary highlighting the top 5 standout options and any emerging trends you noticed.
• All sources bookmarked or exported for easy verification.
Acceptance criteria
• Every meetup is based in Kuala Lumpur city limits and primarily attracts 18-25 year olds.
• Venue type is explicitly a café (no parks, bars, or community centres).
• At least 80 % of links must be active and verifiable on the delivery date.
• Spreadsheet fields are complete, consistent, and spell-checked.
Preferred profile
Being a woman currently living in Kuala Lumpur will make it easier to judge the feel and safety of each event from firsthand perspective, so that background is important.
