Korean-English Bilingual Assistant Needed in Orlando – Sep 14

We are looking for a Korean-English bilingual assistant for a 1-day, on-site conference support role in Orlando, Florida.

Date: Monday, September 14, 2026
Hours: Approximately 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: DoubleTree at the Entrance to Universal Orlando, Orlando, FL 32819
Pay: USD $25–30/hour

You will accompany a Senior Software Engineer from a Korean software technology company during the OMG Q3 Technical Meeting.

Main responsibilities:
- Assist with Korean-English communication during technical sessions and discussions
- Help with Q&A and conversations with international attendees
- Provide language support during breaks and networking
- Support afternoon working-group discussions
- Possible evening networking/dinner support if separately scheduled

Preferred qualifications:
- Fluent or highly proficient in both Korean and English
- Must be physically available in Orlando on September 14
- College students and recent graduates are welcome
- Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related background preferred
- Comfortable with basic software and technical terminology
- Professional interpretation experience is NOT required

Technical topics may include software standards, IDL, and Rust. A CS/software background is a plus, but not required.
