Design Educational Curriculum for Indigenous Studies

Wangarr Creations, in 2025, produced a short film, book with related app for augmented reality, and a website. The book features 16 original Indigenous Australian paintings, with an app that gives a song played on the yiḏaki (didgeridoo) related to each painting, plus narration of the poetic allegory. I have written an educational curriculum to go with these resources, two for Primary Schools (Christian and State Schools), and two for Secondary Schools (Christian and State Schools). I am wanting these curriculums presented in: a student handbook, a Teachers Companion, and a third download of Additional Resources. At present I have these three 'books' ready in the version for a Christian Primary School, and the other versions will be modifications of this. Using parts of the art that has been created in the book God-Wangarr Ngir'yurr (God Breathed), can an attractive Student Workbook, Teachers Companion, and Additional Resources be designed for download from our website? Then in the near future we can create the other versions. The art can be seen at our website www.wangarrcreations.com.au. I am looking to make these files as free downloads from our website to accompany the film and book, so they will probably be in a pdf to download and print at schools.

The Student Workbook should feature pages to fill in based on 40 separate days, with one or two pages per day—approximately 60 pages total. Ideally, this should be completed within one week. The Teacher’s Companion and Additional Resources manuals should follow within two weeks after that.

Freelancers are encouraged to provide an estimated number of hours required for completion along with their hourly rate (under $10 per hour). To assist with accurate estimates, freelancers may review the Student Workbook draft upon request.
