On-Site IT Technicians Required for IT Asset Inventory Across Australia
Project description
We are recruiting experienced and reliable local IT technicians for an upcoming on-site IT asset inventory and verification project across several regional locations in Australia.
This is an on-site assignment and cannot be completed remotely. Technicians may apply for one or multiple locations.

Scope of work:
- Physically verify IT equipment and assets
- Identify inventory items and asset tags
- Record the make, model, serial number and other hardware details
- Verify existing asset labels
- Apply asset labels where required
- Confirm the condition and physical location of each asset
- Take clear photographs of equipment and identification labels
- Report missing, additional, damaged or inaccessible assets
- Complete the supplied inventory spreadsheet or documentation
- Submit a completion report after the site visit
Requirements:
- Must be based in Australia
- Must be able to attend the selected location physically
- Previous experience in IT support, desktop support, field services, hardware deployment or IT asset inventory
- Strong attention to detail
- Own reliable transport and smartphone
- Laptop may be required
- Ability to work independently and follow written instructions
- Good written and spoken English
- Active ABN and appropriate public liability insurance preferred

The displayed budget is indicative only. Please submit your total quote for each location, including all travel expenses. The final price will depend on the estimated duration, number of assets and travel distance.
