We’re looking for an experienced mobile app tester / UX reviewer to thoroughly test our new AI-powered iOS app.
The app allows users to create and share functional mini-apps simply by chatting with AI.
This project has two equally important objectives:
1. QA / Bug Testing
* Test the complete app experience
* Identify bugs, crashes, broken flows, unexpected behavior, and edge cases
* Test creating at least 5 different mini-apps
* Test editing, interacting with, saving and sharing creations
* Try unusual inputs/actions to identify problems
* Document clear reproduction steps for bugs
* Include screenshots or screen recordings where applicable
* Classify issues by severity: Critical / Major / Minor
2. UX/UI & Product Feedback
* Evaluate the experience as a completely new user
* Review onboarding and whether the product is immediately understandable
* Identify confusing flows, unnecessary steps and friction
* Review navigation, layout, copy, visual hierarchy and UI consistency
* Identify moments where a user may abandon the app
* Suggest specific UX/UI improvements
* Tell us what you expected to happen versus what actually happened
* Evaluate whether you would personally return to the app or share something you created
Deliverables
Please provide:
* Detailed bug/QA report with reproduction steps and severity
* Screenshots/screen recordings of issues
* Written UX/UI and product feedback
* Top 5 UX/UI improvements
* Top 5 bugs/issues that should be fixed first
* Screen recording of your first-use experience with spoken “think aloud” feedback
* Overall assessment of the product after testing
Requirements
* Must have an iPhone
* Must be located in the U.S. or Canada
* Experience with mobile app QA/testing, UX/UI, product design, or usability testing
* Strong attention to detail
* Strong written English
* Experience testing consumer AI products is a plus
To apply, start your proposal with “QA” and tell us:
1. What iPhone model and iOS version will you use?
2. Briefly describe your mobile app testing experience.
3. How do you normally document and prioritize bugs?
4. Have you previously provided UX/product feedback in addition to QA testing?
We’re looking for human judgment and exploratory testing, not an automated testing report.
